First Program: A taste of Jordan
Day One: Aqaba
Upon arriving to the point of entry our representative will help you to finish the passport formalities, a short drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight
Day Two: Aqaba / Petra / Aqaba
An Early breakfast, then for the two hours’ drive to visit the second wonder of the world Petra, you will have a full day guided tour of the ancient Nabataean city that will start with a short horse ride (optional) to the Siq - a breathtaking gorge that stretches for 1.2 miles that finishes with the spectacular Treasury. Continue your walk to explore this amazing world heritage site. The Rose Red City of Petra will surely surpass your wildest expectations with its curved tombs, theatre, temples, churches and Roman remains, if you are capable a good hike to the Monastery will be the grand finale of the tour, return on foot to visitor’s center and back to your hotel in Aqaba.
Day Three: Aqaba / Wadi Rum / Aqaba
In the afternoon a one-hour drive will take you to the most beautiful desert, Wadi Rum known by the Bedouins as Valley of the Moon for its moonscape terrain of ancient riverbeds. Described by Lawrence as "Vast, Echoing and God like". Rain and soaring wind carved rocks and smoothed golden dunes, offering the most spectacular scenery in the world, explore the stunning landscape and venture far into the magnificent desert by a 4-wheel jeep while marveling at the massive mountains, beautiful canyons, awe-inspiring rock formations and breathtaking sunset. Watch the most beautiful view while drinking a cup of traditional Bedouin tea, with a chance of a camel ride to your Bedouin camp for a special dinner “Zareb” under the wide and starry sky. Overnight at the camp, or back to Aqaba.
Day Four: Aqaba / Aqaba Airport (King Hussein’s)
Drive to the point of exit for farewell and departure.
Second Program: Jordan Treasures
Day One: Arrival Amman
Upon arrival, a representative from Peace Way Tours will meet you at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). Transfer to hotel in Amman. Overnight at hotel.
Day Two: Amman / Jerash / Ajloun / Amman
After breakfast, start your tour by departing Amman north to visit Jerash; one of the most preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East, proceed to the village of Ajloun with its fortress and magnificent view into the Jordan Valley, continue to visit Um Qais, a city rich with basalt ruins and overlooking the Jordan Valley, Golan Heights and Lake Tiberius (the Sea of Galilee). Return to Amman. Overnight at the hotel
Day Three: Amman / Madaba / Mt Nebo / Petra
After breakfast. You head south to visit the biblical Town of Madaba better known as “The City of Mosaics”. You will be visiting the St. George church with its most ancient geographical and topographical mosaic map of the Holy Land from Byzantine times, a short drive along the Kings Way to see the Monastery in Nebo, and to survey the Promised Land like Moses did according to (Deuteronomy 34). Continue south to Petra for Overnight.
Day Four: Petra
Breakfast, proceed to the lost city of Petra for a grand guided tour. A short horse ride to the Siq - a breathtaking gorge that stretches for 1.2 miles that finishes with the spectacular Treasury, proceed to explore this amazing world heritage site. The Rose Red City of Petra will surely surpass your wildest expectations. Visit the higher parts of the city before returning to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day Five: Petra / Dead Sea
Breakfast. Depart Petra to the Dead Sea. Free time at leisure. Overnight at hotel
Day Six: Dead Sea / Departure
Breakfast then transfers to Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). Assist with formalities and departure.
